Why This Reference Exists
Colorado criminal justice records are spread across several systems. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office creates county booking records and photographs, but its online lookup shows current custody, charges, and bonds without displaying the photo. The Records Unit handles public requests for a Booking Photo or In Custody Report. Colorado courts hold the complaint, docket, orders, and final disposition. For a person sentenced into state corrections, the Colorado Department of Corrections maintains a separate offender search with an image.
This site organizes those official routes and explains what each one can answer. It also identifies when Aurora municipal detention, another county, a federal agency, or immigration custody may be the right starting point. No booking image is copied into a gallery here.
