Centennial Arrest Booking Authority
Centennial sits inside Arapahoe County. The April 1, 2020 Census counted 108,418 residents there. The city incorporated in 2001 and never built its own police force. Instead, it buys public-safety service from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office. The city's official Public Safety page describes that contract. So a "Centennial Police Department" does not exist. Deputies answer the calls and write the incident records. Booking happens at the county Detention Facility, 7375 South Potomac Street in Centennial, and the Records Unit keeps those files.
The chain is short. Each document answers a different question, though. An incident report describes what happened. The jail screen shows who is in custody right now. The court file, kept separately, tracks what prosecutors filed and how the case resolved.
No Centennial Arrest Blotter
You will not find a verified city-only arrest blotter, mugshot feed, or round-the-clock list from Centennial or ACSO. Neither one publishes it. The sheriff's site posts selected news, crime-mapping links, and annual reports, and none of that counts as a booking log. The county lookup also skips conveniences you might expect: no "today" filter, no browse-all option, no way to sort by newest booking. No official multi-day feed, whether 48-hour, 72-hour, or weekly, exists either.
That gap changes the smart approach. Begin with a name, not a gallery of faces. Expecting current custody? Use the sheriff's person search. For someone already out, request an In Custody Report, which shows the booking-and-release window plus the charges the jail recorded. That paper beats any unofficial "recent" label with an unknown update schedule.
Chasing a same-day Centennial arrest? Write down the person's full name, the place, the rough time, and the fact that ACSO handled it. Search by name first. If custody seems likely but nothing matches, call the Automated Information Center. The county has never published a fixed online lag, so once release, transfer, or a data mismatch makes the screen unreliable, a formal records request is the documented fallback.
Note: With no stated roster refresh time or post-release window, a blank result calls for a records check or a phone call.
Where Centennial Busted Mugshots Appear
Start with the official channels. They create and preserve the record in the first place. The public roster does not display booking photographs. A photo must be requested when the sheriff deems it releasable. News outlets and an older aggregator page can steer you toward a name or event. Treat both as leads, though, not complete or authoritative sources.
| Channel | Photo? | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| ACSO current-custody lookup | No | Official present custody, name, ID, booking, charges, bond, docket, and court-date fields. |
| ACSO Records portal | On request when releasable | Official Booking Photo, In Custody Report, and sheriff case-record route. |
| ACSO Public Affairs | Sometimes | Official, event-selected sheriff news and alerts, not a complete arrest list. |
| Centennial Citizen and metro outlets | Varies | Independent selected reporting; agency and court verification is still required. |
| Mugshots.com Arapahoe section | Yes | Unofficial, incomplete, and apparently historical rather than a current county feed. |
The unofficial Arapahoe section showed older year filters and carried city tags, Centennial among them. Keep those labels in perspective. They can linger long after a person's release or after a case takes a turn. Other large services lack verified Arapahoe-local sections. That absence should not be patched with guessed links or generic Colorado pages.
Busted in Centennial Search Path
The quickest accurate route keeps two things in mind: the city contract and the person's custody status. The sheriff's search covers people held right now in the Arapahoe County facility. Released individuals, state prisoners, federal detainees, and anyone sitting in another county's jail fall outside it. The Arapahoe County busted mugshots home page walks through the full county roster and booking-record picture.
- Confirm the name, approximate incident date, and that ACSO handled the Centennial arrest.
- Open the official county search and enter at least a last name or its beginning. Add first and middle name to narrow common matches.
- Compare the returned Name and Id before opening Booking, Total Bond, Charge, Offense, Docket, and Court Date fields.
- If expected custody does not appear, call 720-874-3500 and ask whether the person is held at the county facility.
- For a past stay or an image, submit an In Custody Report or Booking Photo request through ACSO Records.
- Carry the docket or case identifier to the Colorado Judicial Branch for the filed case and final disposition.
A disposition is simply how a court closes a case. Think dismissal, acquittal, plea, or conviction. The jail interface labels its charge rows with a disposition heading. Even so, ACSO says Records does not track final court outcomes. For that next step, continue with the clerk's case record.
Centennial Booking Records Request
The ACSO records portal anchors every image and prior-custody request. It lists distinct request types for a Booking Photo, an In Custody Report, and sheriff incident or case records. One well-built request can cover both the Centennial incident report and the county booking image. Just name each item separately.
Include the person's name, the incident or booking date, and any case or booking number you have. Spell out the exact record you want. The portal promises no fixed turnaround. Fees apply under its published schedule. Release can hinge on Colorado law, a court order, the public interest, or required redactions, and the county does not guarantee that every booking image can be handed over.

Don't send your request to the wrong counter. The Detention Facility sits on South Potomac Street, while sheriff administration and Records work out of East Broncos Parkway. Two buildings, two jobs. Mail or deliver your booking-photo request to the Records side, since the jail lobby does not hold those files.
Centennial Arrest Roster Fields
Start with the sheriff's own tool. The ACSO charges-and-bonds search takes a first, middle, and last name, and a partial last name works too. The first screen is bare. You get a name and an ID number. Click a match for more. Total bond appears, plus the booking date and a list of charge rows. Each row covers the charge, offense, bond or bond type, docket or disposition, and court date or location. Then the data stops. There is no photo. No age, no street address, no physical description. Nothing names the arresting agency or a release date.
| Just booked or in custody | Use the person-specific ACSO search and facility phone. The county gives no fixed posting lag. |
|---|---|
| Released | Request an In Custody Report and any releasable Booking Photo from Records. |
| Case pending or complete | Use the Arapahoe court docket and clerk record for filed charges and outcome. |
| Sentenced to state prison | Use the Colorado Department of Corrections offender search, not the county roster. |
Labels on the custody screen shift as a case moves. Prosecutors can drop counts, add new ones, amend filings, or dismiss the matter outright. Courts acquit and convict. Treat the screen as one moment in time, not the last word on a case.
Note: ACSO has no verified inmate-photo mobile app, and its social media, email alerts, and victim notifications are not booking feeds.
Centennial Busted News Coverage
Sheriff communications are the natural first stop for Centennial arrest news. ACSO Public Affairs and the sheriff homepage post selected releases, alerts, social links, and subscription options. An arrest gets mentioned only when the agency sees a public-information reason. That is not a city roster. Photos for the public still come through Records, while credentialed journalists have a separate, limited weekday channel with Public Affairs.
Local news fills some of the gap. The Centennial Citizen reports on community and public-safety stories in the city. Sentinel Colorado and Denver-area outlets cover selected Centennial and Arapahoe incidents as well. APD News keeps a dated RSS archive, but it serves Aurora and cannot replace Centennial's ACSO records. There is no stable Centennial newspaper mugshot gallery or arrest roster, and no fixed photo policy exists. A news report can still help you spot a deputy's name, a case number, or a court. From there, confirm with the sheriff record and the court disposition. The Crime News & Mugshots page breaks down those source roles further.
Centennial Busted Case Resolution
Centennial's consolidated model removes one common point of confusion, but not all of them. ACSO can hold the incident report, county intake record, and current jail entry. Those files are related, not interchangeable. The report addresses what deputies documented. The booking record addresses custody intake. The jail screen answers whether a person is now held and what charges or bond the facility associates with that stay.
The court record remains separate. Use the Colorado Judicial Branch Arapahoe docket for scheduled activity and obtain the complaint, register of actions, or final order from the clerk when the outcome matters. This last check is essential. A Centennial busted mugshot may stay indexed by a news or third-party source even if the accusation was later changed or dismissed. Only the later record supplies that missing context.
The Arapahoe County Justice Center stands next to the detention complex, but proximity does not merge their records. Court-record questions go to the Judicial Branch and its clerk at 18records@judicial.state.co.us. Booking-photo and sheriff-report requests stay with ACSO Records. Keeping those custodians separate reduces delay and prevents a jail document from being mistaken for a final order.
